History

Since 1981, when we started specializing in only handling personal injury cases as Chandler & Franklin, our promise to clients has been captured in our motto: “Lawyers Serving Injured Persons.” We were among the first attorneys to educate the public of their personal injury rights through Yellow Pages and television advertising. In 1983, we became Chandler, Franklin & O’Bryan and expanded our footprint across the State of Virginia and began representing injured workers. In recent years, we have limited our geographic presence to the Hampton Roads, Peninsula, Middle Peninsula and Tidewater areas of Virginia. We continue to specialize in representing only injured persons and injured workers. We still offer free consultations and still handle cases on a contingency fee basis.
